This Week at MCC

Wednesday, April 18

We invite you to join our Mid-Week Bible Study classes on Wednesday.  Come join us and “Get Connected” to God through deeper study and to one another as we spend time together.  Classes begin at 7 p.m.  We have Nursery, Classes for Kids, Teens and Adults.

Saturday, April 21

Branching Out (MCC’s Middle School-High School Girls Ministry) is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner. This dinner is a free event, but we will be accepting donations to help offset the costs of  the girls attending the Revolve Tour, sponsored by Women of Faith. The Revolve Tour is an inspirational program designed for young girls, to encourage them in their walk of faith. The dinner is open to all ages and will be held at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  It will consist of Spaghetti, Salad, Bread, Tea, and dessert. We hope you will join us.  Contact the church office to let us know that you’re coming.

Sunday, April 22

Skip Broome will be preaching during the Worship Service.  YOU won’t want to miss the message that Skip has for us from God.  Then, you are invited to “Eat-Out & Bowl” after Worship.  We will eat out with each other and then gather at JC’s Lexington Bowl for a few games of strikes and spares.  We will gather around the front of the Worship Center to choose the restaurant/s.

This Weekend, April 13-15

We have a bunch of activities this weekend at MCC.  We hope to see YOU at one of them!

Friday, April 13th

Youth:  Be at the church at 5:30 p.m.  for the All-Night Lock-In!  We’ll have a great night of praise, study, and fun!  Breakfast will be served Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m.  Pick-up time is 8:00 a.m.

Saturday, April 14th

Anyone waiting for football again? Need a fill of the grid iron?  Join us for some Football Fellowship with other men in our congregation.  On April 14th, Carolina has their spring game to end practices until August when the next season starts. You are invited to go to this free event and it doesn’t matter who your team is.  What does matter is that we get to fellowship together and, of course, see some football. .  We will leave the church at 10:00 a.m. to get to the stadium, park and possibly tailgate together.  Bring your own bagged lunch and we will see you Saturday, April 14th.  Any questions please see either Skip Broome or Mike Raines.

Sunday, April 15th

In our morning worship service, we’ll complete our series of messages entitled Encounters:  People Meeting Jesus.  Our focus will turn to Jesus and the Grateful Sister.  The question to consider is “How do I respond to Jesus?”  The Scripture Passage for the morning is John 11.45-12.11.

Also, at 6 PM, our Women’s Ministry will meet.  Join the Ladies for food, fellowship, and a Bible Study on Hannah.
