Holy Week

GOOD FRIDAY

Good Friday is the day we focus on the fact that Jesus died on the cross—for us.

Friday, April 6, at 7:00 p.m., we will remember Jesus’ death on the cross in a Good Friday Communion Service.

We will read Jesus’ seven last words from the cross, sing songs of faith, and gather around the Lord’s Table.  We invite you to share with us.

EASTER

Easter Morning, April 8th, we will begin the Lord’s Day with a fellowship time over breakfast.

We will gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. (instead of our weekly Bible classes).

We ask you to bring a simple breakfast item to share.

Then, at our regular worship time, 10:30 a.m., we’ll celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord by singing songs of faith, sharing in the Lord’s Supper, and hearing God’s word.

Tim’s message will focus on Jesus and the Man in the Tomb.

Easter Family Picnic

UPDATE:

Despite the rain, our MCC Family Picnic at Gibson Pond Park is still on for 11 AM. We have a Shelter reserved that should be big enough to keep everyone covered. Bring games and other activities or just come prepared to talk w/ members of the MCC Family. We’ll eat at Noon. Then, HOPEFULLY!, the rain will pass in time for our Easter Egg Hunt.

We invite YOU to have an “eggs”tra fun time at our

EASTER FAMILY PICNIC

We’ll meet at Gibson Pond Park at 11 AM and eat lunch at noon.  The church will supply the hot dogs.  We need you to supply all the sides.  Come & enjoy a fun, relaxing time together.  Bring your fishing poles, your favorite card/board games, bread to feed the ducks, etc.  We have a covered shelter with tables, but you may want to bring a lounge chair.  Then, before our time is over, we will have an egg hunt!  So kids, bring your baskets.
